Sometimes referred to as LCD projectors, these new digital projectors make use of the new DLP technology from Texas Instruments. Since these projectors do not use an LCD system, they are not called LCD projectors.These are digital/video projectors. The DLP technology provides brighter, higher contrast displays when compared to the LCD projection technology.
