PoINT Jukebox Manager V3.2 for Windows NT/2000

PoINT Jukebox Manage is sophisticated jukebox server software design to manage CD/DVD jukeboxes, disc changers and towers in a networked environment.
Applications
In combination with a CD/DVD jukebox PoINT Jukebox Manager provides a storage solution for a wide range of applications:
  • Library read access in a network environment for CD- and DVD-ROM titles.
  • Archiving on CD-R, DVD-R and DVD-RAM WORM.
  • Duplication and label printing for CD and DVD as unattended operation.
  • CD/DVD duplication and label printing as unattended operation.
  • Second-level storage on DVD-RAM through a hard disk like read/write jukebox file system.
Concept
PoINT Jukebox Manager offers transparent drive letter access to jukeboxes in a networked environment. Seamless integration into the Windows NT/2000 operating system kernel ensures support for all Windows NT/2000 supported network clients. Windows NT/2000 enhanced security and permission control is also active in the shared jukebox file system. CD and DVD recording is integrated to fulfill all archiving, mastering and duplication requirements. The automated recording feature (ECR) for CD-R simplifies the overall recording process dramatically. Due to its multi-threaded implementation PoINT Jukebox Manager allows multiple users to access the jukebox simultaneously and to record different data streams to different media in parallel.
AppCon
PoINT Jukebox Manager V3.2 introduces a new mechanism to integrate jukebox functionality into a standard application. A "PoINT AppCon", or Application Connector, is implemented as a PoINT Jukebox Manager extension, which is especially designed for the specific application. Please contact PoINT for a list of available AppCon's.
