Terms and Conditions

Kintronics makes every effort to ensure customer satisfaction. We provide extensive pre-sales technical support to assist in the selection process. All sales and technical support personnel are skilled engineers with many years of experience. Customers are urged to take advantage of this assistance in making the appropriate choice, and thus avoid the need for unnecessary returns. Free post-sales technical support remains available for the life of the product.


Return Policy

Before returning any product, the technical support department must be contacted to discuss the problem and issue a Return Authorization Number (RMA). Any items received without an RMA will be refused and returned to the sender.

Kintronics is both a manufacturer and a distributor and so different classes of product call for separate procedures:

Kintronics Manufactured Systems
Kintronics manufactured Servers, Towers and Storage systems may be returned within 25 days of receipt. Full refund of the pricing minus the cost of shipping and handling will be issued upon receipt, providing ALL the following conditions are met:

  • A Return Authorization number has been obtained prior to shipping.
  • Towers must be returned, shipping prepaid, in the original box with the original packing materials. Boxes must be free of all markings or writing. All accompanying manuals, keys, cables, power cords, documentation, etc. must be returned in original condition, free of tears or writing. If any items are missing, the cost of replacing them will be deducted from the refund.
  • Returns must be insured for their purchase value.
  • RMA number must be printed on the shipping label, not on the shipping carton.
  • Return must be via a carrier such as UPS, Fedex, DHL, or Airborne, where tracking is possible. Articles must not be returned via the US Postal Service.

Distribution Products
These include projectors, electronics print boards, public address systems, jukebox, and CRT's, network cameras and camera servers. Kintronics is a distributor of these, and as such, cannot offer our own return policy, but must abide by the policies of the manufacturers. If a distribution product is to be returned, an Account Manager will arrange it, if possible, but the customer must abide by whatever company return policy governs that item.

Software
Software is non-refundable. To avoid costly mistakes, evaluation copies can be downloaded to assist you in making a final choice. Kintronics Account Managers work very diligently to help customers in the selection process to avoid the need for return.

Special order Items
These include custom cases, cables, ceiling mount kits, and other non-stock items. These are non-refundable. Account mangers will advise customers at the time of purchase if an item is special order.

Warranty policy

Most products manufactured by Kintronics have a one year warranty policy. When possible, failing components will be repaired or replaced, and if necessary, entire systems will be replaced.
Products that Kintronics distributes must be returned to their manufacturers, and each manufacturer has their own warranty policy. Kintronics will abide by these, and pass them through to the customers. Kintroncis Account Managers will work to facilitate the process.

The customer is responsible for the cost of returning items to Kintronics. Kintronics will assume the cost of sending back the repaired or replaced item.

Extended Warranty and Maintenance

Extended warranty as well as on-site maintenance is available at added cost. Please consult your account manager for details.

Delivery

Most products ship within 5 business days of receipt of order. We will notify you of any delivery problems. The customer has the right to cancel an order if delivery is longer than expected. Products are routinely shipped via UPS Ground, but expedited shipping can be requested. All products are insured for shipping damage and loss, and the cost is passed on to the customer.

Privacy Policy

Kintronics uses goEmerchant to process transactions. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. The information you supply to us during online ordering is protected by encryption and is sent to us in a Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
The Projector People web site has been issued a Digital I.D. certificate by Verisign. This is what insures our organization's authenticity and enables our communications to be encrypted for privacy.

Any information that you provide is used only by Kintronics. It is not shared, sold, or in any way provided to other organizations. From time to time we may send you a newsletter or other email messages. You may always opt out of receiving any and all messages.
