Wireless Camera

The IQeye3-W combines 1.8 Mpixels/second JPEG performance and a 1.3 Megapixel color imager with 802.11b wireless Ethernet compatability. In addition to supporting most wireless Ethernet PCcards, the IQeye3-W is able to run custom "C" applications and perform in camera processing for communication and image analysis.

The IQeye3-W platform contains a fully functional network computer that makes it possible to watch live images using a web browser, configure the camera to email and/or FTP images based on triggers or time lapse settings, or embed custom web pages. When providing compressed streaming JPEGs an IQeye3-W typically uses only 1 to 2 Mbps of a shared network.

Digital Pan Tilt Zoom is standard on the IQeye3-W, allowing simultaneously multiple users to view different parts of the total image. Each connected user can pan and tilt within the image, and can zoom in on interesting details.

This smart camera platform is powered by a 250 MIPS PowerPC CPU. Your custom applications can run in the central processor, with full access to the raw image stream, the color corrected images, subwindows, compressed images and uncompressed video streams.

The IQeye3-W works great with standard industrial mountings and enclosures as well as CS-mount and C-mount lenses. The standard camera is supplied ready for a 1/2" CS mount lens and wireless 802.11b PCcard adapter of your choice.
