Ethernet Powered Camera

The IQPOET allows installation of an IQeye camera with a single low voltage Category 5 cable, up to 100 meters from the nearest power source.

Designed to work in conjunction with the IQeye cameras, the IQPOET power over Ethernet device simplifies IQeye camera installation.

The IQPOET system is a pair of adapters that plugs directly into the IQeye camera on one side and into the network hub and power at an easily-accessed central location on the other. IQPOET provides both power (approximately 3 watts) and data over a single RJ45 Category 5 (CAT5) cable, the common standard for 10/100Mb Ethernet cabling. The IQPOET simplifies installation with its reliable performance at a wide range of temperatures from -22 to +140 F, -30 to +60C.

Total distance from the network hub connection to the IQeye camera can be as long as the Ethernet standard allows, 100 meters with CAT5 cable.
