IQeye3 Features: Next --> |
| High resolution cameras have field of view advantages that lower your system cost when compared to normal camera installations. How? Using one IQeye high resolution camera instead of two normal network cameras. In some cases, one IQeye3 replaces four normal cameras with no loss in pixel detail or coverage area. | |

Every installation has unique requirements for camera placement and lens selection.

Here is an excerpt from the U.S. Department of Justice report intended for use by schools when designing surveillance systems:
To
test this, we took some pictures with an IQeye3. The area highlighted
as the face below is about 10" high, so the DOJ report would allow the
use of the smallest image represented. We think it gets fuzzy long before
that, and our consensus was to use twice as many lines as the minimum
standard. Wouldn't you rather have good image detail? |
|||||
Methodology: Using an IQeye3 and a 6.5 mm lens we increased distance and took an exposure until the face was unrecognizable. Then the head and shoulders was cropped from the large image. We used Photoshop to copy the face and enlarged it to 92 by 110 (the native resolution of the largest face) using bicubic interpolation. No sharpening or other manipulation was used. |
