This costs more, but you will get much better software and it will allow you to add additional cameras from other manufacturers. ProSightSMB is a good low end solution. It uses your own computer (or we can provide the computer). This is an excellent start up system that can easily grow to a 25 camera system by adding cameras and upgrading the software.

This system assumes that the video is stored in the hard drive of your computer. A 320 GB hard drive is required to store up to 14 days of video for four cameras. This assumes the cameras are set for less than 4 fps, a resolution of 700 x 480, and motion is detected 50% of the time.

Indoor IP Camera System

Quad Indoor IP Camera System

Application: Camera system with software for indoor use to view a number of different areas. Each camera has enough resolution to allow you to identify a person's face in an area about 15 ft wide. This is an excellent start up system that can easily grow to a 25 camera system by adding cameras and upgrading the software. A 800 GB hard drive is required to store up to 7 days of video from 4 cameras. This assumes the camera uses H.264 compression, is set for less than 5 fps, a resolution of 1280 x 1024, and motion is detected 50% of the time.
