We provide a choice of Video Management Software (VMS) that works with many types of IP cameras.

In general all the IP video software allows you to view multiple cameras, record and retrieve video and monitor alarms. Each product has some unique capability that fit specific applications. These products are also available with a computer system providing a complete IP NVR system solution. Many of these products can also be used with other storage points on the network such as our Network Attached Video Storage systems (NAS). These video systems can provide Terra Bytes of storage.

When you add Video Management Software to a computer you create a Network Video Recorder System (NVR) These NVR products are Windows based (or Lynx) applications that manage and record the video from networked IP cameras.

Overview of Ocularis

This software is designed for organizations or with small security and monitoring requirements.

Ocularis PS is best used in small security applications operating in a single location, running a relatively small number of cameras.

This software replaced ProSightSMB .

OcularisIS is a midrange solution for organizations where the security organization is localized to each location.

It is designed for security applications at multiple locations with up to 64 cameras. It supports integration with access control, intercoms and other 3rd-party systems. It is excellent for organizations with dedicated resources for security. It adds the capability of On-event automated push-video alerting.

This software replaced NetDVR. NetGuard-EVS has been replaced by the Ocularis client.

Adds the following additional features:

  • Multi-site, multi-server support
  • Ocularis Client software included for concurrent viewing on as many Window computers as required
  • On-event automated push-video alerting.
  • Shared event and alerting management
  • Makes use of secondary (economical) storage.
  • CaseMaker (enhanced bookmarking).
  • Supports audio storage and can listen using client software.

Ocularis CS is a more sophisitcated product that is best for large distributed organizations with complicated command and control security needs.

Ocularis CS includes all the features listed for the other versions and adds support for VideoWall and OpenSight add-ons, allowing the control of video walls at multiple command and control centers, and incorporating camera streams from other Ocularis installations.

CS replaces the previous DS version and is an improvement over NetDVMS. NetGuard-EVS has been replaced by the Ocularis client.

Adds the following additional features:

  • Control room video-wall management
  • OpenSight-compatible (as viewer system)

This is best for organizations that have a large distributed security organization. It has no size limitation, and provides alerting and 3rd party integration including video content analytics when required.

Customer typically has an extensive Command Center and requires centralized management of all recording servers, multi-cast network and system failover support.

blue dot AXIS Camera Station is an IP-Surveillance software that only works with Axis network cameras and video servers to provide video monitoring, recording and event management functions. Users can record video continuously, on schedule, on alarm and/or on motion detection. The software has multiple search functions for recorded events. Remote viewing and playback are also possible with the use of a Web browser or the AXIS Camera Station Windows client.

The software supports up to 25 cameras with up to 16 cameras per viewing window.
